SUMMARY:Niagara River Challenge - Hosted by Paddle Niagara
DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to be returning to Niagara-on-the-Lake for the 3rd Annual Niagara River Paddle Challenge Hosted by Paddle Niagara\, Niagara’s premier SUP excursion and lesson provider. \n\nPaddle Niagara brings the Ontario SUP Series to beautiful Niagara on the Lake\, and the majestic Niagara River. SUP Racers will battle it out at the mouth of the Niagara River where it meets Lake Ontario\, on a very unique and challenging race course.  Our Open and Novice divisions will race on a course in the Niagara River\, where flat conditions are virtually guaranteed\, other then the odd boat wake.  Our Elite course will include a leg in Lake Ontario\, where the outgoing river current meets the the Lake.  As last year’s racers can attest\, this can create some very unique and FUN conditions. \nThe event site will be located in the Northwest corner of the park.  Parking is paid via the Honk App.  Download the app to save time. \n\n\nCourse Lengths:\n\nElite: 10km varying conditions consisting of Niagara River and Lake Ontario ($50 pre-reg)\nOpen: 5-6km varying conditions consisting of Niagara River ($50 pre-reg)\nNovice: 2km Niagara River.  Note: Novice racers will pay a reduced entry fee of $30 and the Novice U18 racer entry will be $20!\nKids Race: TBD (after adult races are complete\, should we have a minimum of 5 kids – FREE and on-site registration only)\nAn après party will be announced closer to the race date. \n\nIf you are looking for accommodations in the area\, try these options: \nhttps://www.rentalsniagara.com \nhttps://vineridgeresort.comhttps:// \nheycamping.ca/Ontario/Niagara-On-The-Lake/ \nRegistration opens May 23rd! \nClick here to register \nRACE SCHEDULE: \n9:00-10:30 AM on site registration at Queen’s Royal Park.
