DESCRIPTION:SAME TIMES APPLY FOR SUNDAY!  Welcome to the registration page for the Toronto Windsurfing Club’s 6th annual Spring Classic SUP race. There will be Elite\, Rec\, and Kids SUP races. Lunch is provided for racers and non-racers can also purchase lunch (subject to availability). Equipment demos will be available also. Looking forward to seeing you and your family there! \nSchedule: \n8:45-9:15am Registration \n9:30am: Racers briefing \n9:45am: Elite Race for SUP and surfski and Rec Race for SUP \n11:15am: Kids Race (14 and under) \n11:45am : Lunch (Lunch for non-racers is $10 but there may be limited availability – first-come first served once racers have been served) \n12:30pm: Awards and price draw \nRace Classes: \nSUP boards are limited to 14′ long or under for males and females in the Elite and Rec races. For the Kids race\, any size boards may be used. \nElite SUP race(6-8km) – Men’s open\, Women’s open\, Men’s 50+\, Women’s 50+ \nRec races (Open and Novice) (2-4km) – Men’s open\, Women’s open\, Men’s novice\, Women’s novice\, Men’s 50+\, Women’s 50+ \nKids SUP race (about 1.5km) : Boys 14 and under\, Girls 14 and under (subject to change on race day) \nSpecific courses will be set on race day depending on weather conditions.  \nRace Fees (includes prize draw ticket and lunch): \nFees for Elite SUP race\, Rec SUP races: \n$40 if registered online by Thu. May 23 at noon. \n$60 if registered online May 23 noon to May 24\, 8pm. Online registration closes at May 24\, 8pm. \n$65 at the beach on May 25 race morning. Only cash or cheques are accepted at the beach. If paying by cash\, please bring exactly $65 as change may not be available. Cheques payable to “Toronto Windsurfing Club”. \nNo fees for Kids races \n  \nNote on Tickets: Although this web site allows you to print out tickets for racers and lunch\, it is not necessary. You can check in on race day during registration starting at 9am without a ticket as your name and details will be on file. \nCheck-in on race day:  \nAll racers (including those that have already registered online) will have to check-in at the registration desk on race day to receive a racer number bib and get their number recorded. SUMMARY:Grand River Race - Paris
DESCRIPTION:Race Type\nThis is a river race through less than class 1 rapids.\nInflatables are recommended but hard boards will be allowed at your own risk.  Fins shorter than 6 inch are recommended.\nWe will not be responsible for any damage. \nRentals\nRentals will be available @ $40 per board on a first come basis. A credit card must be provided in case of any damage. Please contact Aaron Pilon or Glen Buchanan to make your reservation (aaron@bluwave.ca or glen@tridentsports.com). \nRace Route\nAll Levels.\nPut in is at Glen Morris.\nThe race is approximately 8.2 km through easy moving water and a few swifts (rapids) to the Three Sisters Bridge Trestles (Finish). \nRegistration\nMeet at 142 West River Road South\, Brant\, ON.\nThis address is a private residential address so you’ll be turning into a driveway and driving down a road to the river.\nWe will mark the driveway with a SUP Series flag.\nPay camping will also be available here.\nFrom here we’ll jump into vehicles and shuttle up to the put-in at Glen Morris.\nAll other cars will remain on site\nContact glen@tridentsports.com for more details. \nRegistration OPEN NOW:  https://www.webscorer.com/register?raceid=175548 \nOn line registration closes at 1 pm on Friday\, May the 1oth.\nOn-site registration 09:00 – 11:00\nRace Meeting at Glen Morris Put-in– 11:30\nRace Start – 12:00\nAwards – At the finish line. 142 West River Road South\, Brant\, ON.  \nEquipment\nBoards – it is highly recommended that inflatable boards are used for this race\, due to shallow sections in the river\, and the expectation that you will bottom out or catch a fin at some point during this race. \nPFD’s are mandatory. Given that we are paddling moving water\, traditional wearable PFDs are highly recommended\, however inflatable belt PFDs will be accepted.\nQuick release leashes are highly recommended.\nWarm/Cold weather gear is advised (weather dependant).\nHelmets are recommended\nShin and elbow pads are acceptable. \n
