DESCRIPTION:RACE UPDATE (UPDATED FRIDAY JULY 4TH): \n  \nOK FOLKS\, IT’s A GO!  This is a Green Light Event!  The Great Lakes Paddle Games are ON!  With a beautiful South – side shore wind we’ll have some beauty gentle knee high downwind bumps!!  So if you’ve never done a downwinder before this will have you stoked for more!!  Please read below for the 2 board drop off points!  We will have West Shore Banners and a volunteer at each point so you know your at the right spot. \nHere are the specifics regarding the downwind race.  This is a true point A to point B downwind race: \nRace starts 11:00am\nRacers meeting at Station Beach 10:00am Kincardine at Station Beach\n——-\nStation Beach Rd\nKincardine ON\nCanada \nDropped Pin (https://maps.apple.com/?ll=44.175275\,-81.640837&q=Dropped%20Pin&t=h) \nWhat has to happen BEFORE you arrive at 10:00am racers meeting: \n-ELITE division –  Drop your boards of at Point Clark – Harbour Lighthouse Race Start Point – 15km downwinder (ADDRESS below) \nElite drop off point Address\nPoint Clark\n522 Lighthouse Rd\nHuron-Kinloss ON N2Z 2R0\nCanada\nGoogle Map link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/mYXWbYwy6AQGH4U38 \n– ELITE would drop their boards\, paddles\, life jackets and hydration off at the Point Clark Lighthouse drop off point.\nWe will have a volunteer here to watch the boards on the beach.\n-Then drive their vehicles into Station Beach Kincardine to park at the finish line and REGISTER/ Racers meeting\n(This is about a 20 minute drive so please get there early enough to get back into station beach Kincardine for racers meeting \n-Station Beach Kincardine is where all competitors for ELITE and OPEN DIVISIONS would communicate with each other to carpool and drive back out to Point Clark or 10th concession to their boards and respective start lines\n-this way their vehicles would be at the finish line when finished \n—— \n-OPEN DIVISION – 10th concession / boiler beach road race start point 6.5km downwinder (map below) \nOPEN RACE BOARD DROP OFF POINT\n104–198 Boiler Beach Rd\nHuron-Kinloss ON\nCanada \nGoogle Map Link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/6rZyzRJWY3Knc6fL9 \n-OPEN would drop their boards\, paddles\, life jackets and hydration off at the 10th concession / boiler beach road drop off point where we will have a volunteer at to watch boards at the beach. \n-Open competitors will then drive their vehicles into Station Beach Kincardine to park at the finish line AND CHECK IN/REGISTER\n-Station Beach Kincardine is where OPEN AND ELITE COMPETITORS would all communicate to arrange carpools/drive back out to 10th concession / boiler beach road to their boards\n-this way their vehicles would be at the finish line.\n11:00am race start. \nFor carpooling Elite riders and open riders could carpool together and drop open riders off at this half way point on their way out to point Clark. \nIf a participant/competitor is running behind and can’t make the drop points they would have to go straight to the race start points check in and they would be responsible for finding there own way back to their vehicles after the race. \nBEING ON TIME FOR THE 10:00am racers meeting at station beach Kincardine and starting points\, is CRUCIAL FOR THIS TO BE SUCCESSFUL and on time. \nTHANKS EVERYONE for the patience on this.  Let’s have a fun race this Saturday!!! \nOPEN RACE BOARD DROP POINT FOR DOWNWIND RACE; \n195 – 198 Boiler Beach Rd\nHuron-Kinloss ON\nCanada\n10th concession / boiler beach road intersection \nELITE RACE BOARD DROP POINT FOR DOWNWIND RACE; \nPoint Clark\n522 Lighthouse Rd\nHuron-Kinloss ON N2Z 2R\n0\nCanada \n****Parking at station beach**** \nYou now MUST park your vehicles to the south parking lot(turn left onto grass area\, gravel driveway and park down to the south)\nIT’S ON!   The Great Lakes Paddle Games\, hosted by long time Ontario SUP Series supporters\, Ash and Tonya Adams\, of West Shore Surf Shop in Kincardine\, Ontario\, and supported by the Husky Fellas SUP Club of Kincardine. \n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\nEvent date:  Saturday\, July 5th\, 2025.\n\nTentative Schedule: \nRacer Check-in 9:OO am – 9:45 am (with point to point race\, racers will need to drop their boards at the start point prior to check-in at Station Beach. \n10:00: Race Meeting \n11:00 ELITE\, OPEN  Race(s) Start \n12:30 Kids Race \n1:00 AWARDS by our Prize Sponsors\, Starboard and Blu Wave\, and event host\, West Shore \nRegistration is OPEN \nClick here to register \nElite – +/- 15 km \nOpen – +/- 6 km\n \nNovice – 2-3 km \nKids < 1 km \n\nCost: Online Pre-registration:  $50.  NO On Site Registration.  Kids race FREE (day of registration). \n\nEvent Host:
