Equipment
Boards – it is highly recommended that inflatable boards are used for this race, due to shallow sections in the river, and the expectation that you will bottom out or catch a fin at some point during this race.
PFD’s are mandatory. Given that we are paddling moving water, traditional wearable PFDs are highly recommended, however inflatable belt PFDs will be accepted.
Quick release leashes are highly recommended.
Warm/Cold weather gear is advised (weather dependant).
Helmets are recommended
Shin and elbow pads are acceptable.
