Toronto Windsurf Club Spring Classic – POSTPONED TO SUNDAY, MAY 26th

SAME TIMES APPLY FOR SUNDAY!  Welcome to the registration page for the Toronto Windsurfing Club’s 6th annual Spring Classic SUP race. There will be Elite, Rec, and Kids SUP races. Lunch is provided for racers and non-racers can also purchase lunch (subject to availability). Equipment demos will be available also. Looking forward to seeing you and your family there!

Schedule:

8:45-9:15am Registration

9:30am: Racers briefing

9:45am: Elite Race for SUP and surfski and Rec Race for SUP

11:15am: Kids Race (14 and under)

11:45am : Lunch (Lunch for non-racers is $10 but there may be limited availability – first-come first served once racers have been served)

12:30pm: Awards and price draw

Race Classes:

SUP boards are limited to 14′ long or under for males and females in the Elite and Rec races. For the Kids race, any size boards may be used.

Elite SUP race(6-8km) – Men’s open, Women’s open, Men’s 50+, Women’s 50+

Rec races (Open and Novice) (2-4km) – Men’s open, Women’s open, Men’s novice, Women’s novice, Men’s 50+, Women’s 50+

Kids SUP race (about 1.5km) : Boys 14 and under, Girls 14 and under (subject to change on race day)

Specific courses will be set on race day depending on weather conditions. 

Race Fees (includes prize draw ticket and lunch):

Fees for Elite SUP race, Rec SUP races:

$40 if registered online by Thu. May 23 at noon.

$60 if registered online May 23 noon to May 24, 8pm. Online registration closes at May 24, 8pm.

$65 at the beach on May 25 race morning. Only cash or cheques are accepted at the beach. If paying by cash, please bring exactly $65 as change may not be available. Cheques payable to “Toronto Windsurfing Club”.

No fees for Kids races

Note on Tickets: Although this web site allows you to print out tickets for racers and lunch, it is not necessary. You can check in on race day during registration starting at 9am without a ticket as your name and details will be on file.

Check-in on race day: 

All racers (including those that have already registered online) will have to check-in at the registration desk on race day to receive a racer number bib and get their number recorded. Only cash and cheques will be accepted as payment on race day.
